Atmosphere is everything when it comes to livening up things in the bedroom. Lighting, sheets and blankets, what you're wearing, and what you're listening to all contribute to heating things up. So why not create a playlist of songs that'll complement your every move? First, consider yours and your partner's musical tastes. Obviously, you don't want to put a style of music that either of you hate on your list, even if it is the most romantic song ever. Nothing can put the brakes on putting the moves on each other like Karen Carpenter crooning "Superstar"...unless that's what you're into. If you have a tune that you consider "your song," add it. So here are a few selections if you and your partner to groove to. Perhaps you're kind of old school; that's cool. Of course the old Marvin Gaye standards "Sexual Healing" and "Let's Get it On" are perfect. Also try "Beast of Burden" by The Rolling Stones, "(Sittin On) The Dock of the Bay" by Otis Redding, "Comfortably Numb" by Pink Floyd and "Waiting for a Girl Like You" by Foreigner. Love the '90s? Give "Fascination Street" by The Cure, "Criminal" by Fiona Apple, "Crash Into Me" by The Dave Matthews Band and "Glory Box" by Portishead a try. More of an R&B fan? John Legend has you covered with "Ordinary People." "Sex Therapy" by Robin Thicke speaks for itself, and "Love in this Club" by Usher has you covered in the bedroom. Looking for something unusual and off the, uh, beaten path? Try Lana Del Rey's "Video Games" or "Sex on Fire" by Kings of Leon. Consider starting your playlist at a slow tempo, building to an "explosive" song and bringing things back down.
