Kids Have Stress, Too!
They may not wring their hands, yell or furrow their brows, but kids do experience stress, just like adults. Childhood may not be one big picnic for all kids, all the time. And just like adults, kids need healthy ways to relieve stress and relax. A calm, stable and reliable environment can prevent stress in small kids. But how do you know when they've had enough and need to decompress? Obviously, a tantrum will tell you something's wrong with your child, but there are other more subtle ways kids express their need to blow off steam.
