Ingredients

For 10 people

  • 16 ounce(s) lean top round steak, cut into thin strips
  • 1 tablespoon(s) vegetable oil
  • 2 cans pinto beans
  • 14 1/2 ounce(s) diced tomatoes
  • 12 tablespoon(s) tomato paste
  • 4 ounce(s) water
  • 1/2 cup(s) chopped onion
  • 2 2/3 ounce(s) chopped green bell peppers
  • 1/3 cup(s) chopped sweet red pepper
  • 1 tablespoon(s) chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) cayenne pepper

Directions

  1. In a large pan, cook meat in oil until browned on all sides; drain.
  2. Add remaining ingredients; stir to combine. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat and cook for 30 to 40 minutes or until meat is tender.
