All the goodness of your favorite salad comes together in this chicken Caesar sandwich which is served on buttery, grilled French bread.
For 2 people
2slices French bread, about 5 inch across and 3 inch deep
2 tablespoon(s) prepared Caesar dressing
2 ounce(s) white or yellow cheddar (2 slices, 1 ounce each)
1small boneless chicken breast
1 tablespoon(s) grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon(s) butter
Spread 1 tbsp. of the Caesar dressing on 1 side of each slice of the bread. Place spread side down; place 1 slice of Cheddar on each slice and top cheese with freshly grilled chicken or chicken slices.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Close the sandwich. Melt butter in skillet or griddle over moderate heat. Cook sandwich, on both sides, until golden brown.
