You've got soccer practice in an hour, and the drive-thru seems like your only option. Not so fast. Bake up this chili mac in no time at all. It's the ultimate kid -- and parent -- pleaser.


Fast Goulash Macaroni

Ingredients

For 4 people

  • 1 box macaroni and cheese
  • 16 ounce(s) hamburger
  • 1 can chili, hot

Directions

Prepare macaroni and cheese according to package directions, except melt the butter in the pan. Then mix in the cheese, followed by the milk. Stir until smooth, then add the macaroni and mix thoroughly. This will make creamier mac and cheese, and the cheese will be more evenly distributed. While preparing mac and cheese, brown hamburger in skillet and heat chili in saucepan. When all ingredients are prepared, mix the hamburger and chili into the mac and cheese. Serve hot.
