Vodka Coffee

Sometimes you crave an after dinner coffee that has an extra kick. The addition of vodka with brown sugar and notes of vanilla makes this drink the libation for you.

Vodka Coffee


For 1 people

  • 2 cup(s) ground coffee beans, strong
  • 24 ounce(s) water
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup(s) light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/3 tablespoon(s) glycerin
  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
  • 3 cup(s) vodka


Put ground coffee and boiling water into a bowl and mix thoroughly and then strain immediately through cheesecloth into a glass-measuring cup. Combine coffee and sugars in a saucepan. Heat for 5 minutes over low heat, stirring constantly, just until the mixture begins to steam without bringing to a boil. Remove pan from heat and let cool. Stir in glycerin, vanilla extract and vodka. Pour into glass jars.
