This salad recipe requires no cooking at all. It's not the healthiest dish, but it is surely downright delicious. Whet your palate with this spicy pleaser.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 large head lettuce
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 (15 oz.) can chili beans in sauce, chilled
  • 3/4 bottle Kraft Catalina dressing, chilled
  • 1 medium bag Fritos or Dorito taco chips, crushed

  • Methods/steps
    1. Wash and tear lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Wash chilled chili beans to remove the sauce; then drain. Combine beans, tomatoes, cheese, and dressing. Toss gently and allow chilling for at least 1/2 hour. Mix in lettuce and chips just before serving.
