Ingredients

For 6 people

  • 1/3 cup(s) parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 cup(s) mayonnaise
  • 14 1/2 ounce(s) artichoke hearts (packed in water & salt)
  • 1/3 cup(s) red pepper sauteed in olive oil
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/3 cup(s) chopped onion sauteed in olive oil
  • 1 thinly sliced French bread

Directions

1. Drain artichoke, rinse and chop them thinly.
2. Combine mayonnaise, artichokes, parmesan cheese, red pepper and onion.
3. Beat egg whites until firm.
4. Fold egg whites into cheese mixture.
5. Spread mixture on bread.
6. Arrange the slices on alluminium foil.
7. Broil for few minutes; Watch carefully to prevent burning.
