Bacon Chestnut Appetizers
When it comes to fantastic, these finger foods win first prize. The bacon-wrapped appetizers are excellent for any gathering. Easy to make and even easier to eat these tiny treats won’t last long on the serving platter.
Ingredients
For 4 people
- 10 slices bacon
- 1/4 brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon(s) ginger
- 1/4 cup(s) butter
- 1/3 tablespoon(s) Soya sauce
- 3/4 cup(s) water chestnuts
Directions
Mix: butter, brown sugar, Soya sauce and ginger to make dough-like pasta and add more brown sugar if too sticky.
Form into small balls, and insert a water chestnut into each ball.
Wrap each ball with a small 1/2 slice of bacon.
Broil until bacon crisps.
Serve hot!
