Barbecued Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 24 ounce(s) asparagus, trimmed (1.5 lbs)
  • 1 tablespoon(s) olive oil
  • 1 dash(es) salt, to taste
  • 1 dash(es) pepper, to taste
  • 1 lemon wedges, for garnish

Directions

  1. Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat).
  2. Brush asparagus with olive oil. Grill asparagus until tender and beginning to brown, turning frequently, about 5 minutes. Transfer to serving platter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  3. Serve warm or at room temperature with a squeeze of lemon.
