Barbecued Shrimp and Grits
Here's a tail of two great Southern staples. Nothing like some gourmet shrimp and grits to get you going. All the Southern flavors rolled into one great dish.
Ingredients

- 4 large shrimp
- 2 tablespoon(s) olive oil
- 1/2 lemon - juiced
- 2 tablespoon(s) butter
- 1 pinch(es) salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup(s) stone ground grits, cooked
- 1 tablespoon(s) barbecue sauce
- 2 ounce(s) shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 ounce(s) shredded jack cheese
- 2 ounce(s) cooked chopped bacon
Directions
Sauté large shrimp in olive oil, lemon juice and butter. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour grits on plate or in martini glass and add shrimp. Top with barbecue sauce, cheeses and bacon.
