Bean and Garlic Dip
This healthy, white bean dip makes for a perfect gameday snack served with pita chips, pretzels, or freshly cut crudite'. Your guests will savor every spoonful.
Ingredients
For 8 people
- 3 1/2 cup(s) white beans (drained)
- 1 garlic clove (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon(s) lemon juice (fresh)
- 1 ounce(s) water
- 1 dash(es) freshly ground black pepper
- 1 pinch(es) cumin seeds
- 1 pinch(es) paprika
Directions
In a blender mix the beans, garlic, lemon juice and water until smooth; season with pepper. Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle over a few cumin seeds and a pinch of ground paprika. Serve with toasted whole meal pita bread fingers and olives or fresh vegetables.
