Boiled Corn

Simple corn on the cob is a must have for your next cookout. This simple side pairs well with ribs, chicken, steak, or fish.


Boiled Corn

Ingredients

For 1 people

  • 1 corn on the cob, , remove husks
  • 64 ounce(s) water
  • 1 tablespoon(s) butter
  • 1 dash(es) salt, to taste
  • 1 dash(es) ground black pepper

Directions

  1. In a large pot, enough to hold the corn to fill it with water to cover the corn (the corn should float).
  2. On a medium heat allow the pot of water to boil. Once the water is boiled, add in the corn into the pot and cover. Cook for 10-15 minutes depending on how soft you want your corn.
  3. Drain water and remove corn on the cob. Top the corn with salt, pepper and butter or herbs and spices.
