Boston Brownies
It's time to throw your own Boston tea party... and make these sinful brownies the center of attention. One bite and those store-bought brands will totally be put to shame.
Ingredients
For 1 people
- 1/2 cup(s) butter
- 1 cup(s) white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
- 5 1/3 tablespoon(s) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup(s) all- purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) baking powder
- 3 tablespoon(s) butter, softened
- 3 tablespoon(s) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon(s) honey
- 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
- 1 cup(s) confectioners' powdered sugar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour an 8 inch square pan.
- In a large saucepan, melt 1/2 cup butter. Remove from heat, and stir in sugar, eggs, and 1 tsp. vanilla. Beat in 1/3 cup cocoa, 1/2 cup flour, salt, and baking powder. Spread batter into prepared pan.
- Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Do not overcook.
- To Make Frosting: Combine 3 tbsp. butter, 3 tbsp. cocoa, 1 tbsp. honey, 1 tsp. vanilla, and 1 cup confectioners' sugar. Frost brownies while they are still warm.
