Caesar Sandwich
All the goodness of your favorite salad comes together in this chicken Caesar sandwich which is served on buttery, grilled French bread.
Ingredients
For 2 people
- 2 slices French bread, about 5 inch across and 3 inch deep
- 2 tablespoon(s) prepared Caesar dressing
- 2 ounce(s) white or yellow cheddar (2 slices, 1 ounce each)
- 1 small boneless chicken breast
- 1 tablespoon(s) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon(s) butter
Directions
- Spread 1 tbsp. of the Caesar dressing on 1 side of each slice of the bread. Place spread side down; place 1 slice of Cheddar on each slice and top cheese with freshly grilled chicken or chicken slices.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Close the sandwich. Melt butter in skillet or griddle over moderate heat. Cook sandwich, on both sides, until golden brown.
