Candy Cookies
There’s no trick in this treat. Every bite is deliciously sweet. What’s better than your favorite candy bar? Enjoying it in your favorite cookie. Enjoy these succulent cookies loaded with treats. Now, that’s the way the cookie is supposed to crumble!
Ingredients
For 4 people
- 2 1/4 cup(s) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
- 1 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1 cup(s) butter or margarine, softened
- 3/4 cup(s) granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup(s) packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 12 ounce(s) of your favorite candy bar, broken into small pieces. Reese's cups and Whoppers may be chopped into small chunks. M&Ms and similar candies can be used whole.
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Once mixed, add candy pieces. Place teaspoon-sized drops of dough spaced about 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until the cookies are golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
