Cheese Fondue
Fondue is making a comeback, so dust off your old fondue pot and get ready to wow your guests with this rich and flavorful cheese fondue that pairs perfectly with cubes of crusty bread, apples, and fresh veggies.
Ingredients
For 1 people
- 1 clove garlic, halved
- 1 cup(s) rose wine
- 4 ounce(s) grated Gruyere cheese
- 8 ounce(s) grated red-veined Cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon(s) flour
- 1/8 ounce(s) kirsch
- 1 cubes of sesame-coated French bread
Directions
Grate both cheeses and rub fondue pot with the garlic. Add apple juice and heat until it begins to bubble Stir in both the cheeses by the handful. When cheese is melted mix together cornstarch with lemon juice, stir into cheese mixture until thickened and season with paprika and nutmeg. Transfer fondue pot to tabletop burner.
