Chicken & Potatoes Greek Style

Chicken & Potatoes Greek Style


For 8 people

  • 96 ounce(s) chicken (roaster)
  • 1 dash(es) salt
  • 1 dash(es) pepper
  • 9 teaspoon(s) dried oregano
  • 5 baking potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 1/4 cup(s) butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup(s) chicken broth


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour broth into bottom of a roasting pan. Put chicken on a rack in pan; arrange potatoes around and sprinkle with salt, pepper and oregano. Pour butter and lemon juice over top of chicken and potatoes. Bake 2 - 2 1/2 hours until chicken is tender and browned, basting with pan juices frequently.
