Chicken Salad In Pita Bread


For 4 people

  • 2 1/4 cup(s) (3/4 lb) bite sized cubes, chicken breast
  • 3/4 cup(s) sour half and half
  • 2 teaspoon(s) dill weed
  • 3/4 teaspoon(s) seasoned salt
  • 1 small cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 6 cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 8 small mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 pita breads, (6.5 inch) halved


  1. Blend sour half and half, dill weed and salt. Toss with chicken, cucumber, onion, tomatoes and mushrooms. Serve on lettuce with pita bread or line pita bread halves with lettuce and fill with chicken mixture and serve as a sandwich.
