Chocolate Coffee Trifle

It’s time to trifle with deliciousness. This chocolate dessert is layered with whipped topping and walnuts. The coffee flavoring is an added perk. Jolt up your day with this delectable sweet coarse.

Chocolate Coffee Trifle


For 1 people

  • 1 (17 oz.) pkg. frozen Pepperidge Farm 3-layer fudge cake with chocolate frosting
  • 1/2 cup(s) chopped walnuts
  • 16 tablespoon(s) whipped topping
  • 1 box instant chocolate pudding
  • 2 cup(s) milk ( to prepare instant chocolate pudding)
  • 2 2/3 floz Kahlua


Cut the cake into 4 sections, and then cut each section into 4 slices. In a trifle bowl or glass bowl, make the layers as follows: cake, Kahlua (sprinkle over cake), pudding, whipped topping and walnuts. Continue the layers until ingredients are used up, ending with whipped topping and walnuts. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until serving time. May be made ahead.
