Classic Chicken & Rice Burritos

When you're tired of the same old boring burritos, spice things up with this classic chicken and rice medley. Prepared with all of the fixings, these wraps are poultry in motion.

Classic Chicken & Rice Burritos


For 1 people

  • 2 cup(s) shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
  • 4 floz water
  • 2 cup(s) cooked white rice
  • 1 cup(s) tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup(s) chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup(s) sliced green onions
  • 1 cup(s) flour tortillas


  1. In a large skillet, heat chicken, seasoning mix and water; bring to a boil and then simmer uncovered for 8-10 minutes. Add cooked rice, tomato sauce, chopped tomatoes and green onions; heat 5-6 minutes. Heat the tortillas according to the package directions. Place approximately 1/2 cup filling on each tortilla. Fold in sides and roll up to close. Place in baking dish, cover with shredded cheese and bake at 350 degrees until cheese is melted and burritos are heated through.
