Cold Veggie and Pasta Salad

Looking for a creative, go-to pasta salad recipe that's simple to whip up and sure to be a party favorite? This healthy, whole wheat pasta salad takes only minutes to prepare, and can be put together ahead of time and chilled until it's party time.

Cold Veggie and Pasta Salad


For 6 people

  • 16 ounce(s) whole wheat thin spaghetti pasta, cooked and drained
  • 2 cup(s) low-fat Italian salad dressing (1 bottle)
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 green pepper
  • 6 green onions
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 1/4 ounce(s) pitted black olives (1 small can)
  • 1/4 cup(s) grated Parmesan cheese


In large bowl, place pasta and cut up fresh vegetables. Pour in 1/2 of the bottle of Italian dressing. Put in olives and sprinkle with cheese. Let chill for 2 hours, then pour remaining dressing on salad and serve.
