Cranberry Bulgur Wheat

This simple, steamed dish is prepared with dried cranberries that are bursting with antioxidant goodness, but you can sub in your favorite dried fruit for this successful side.

Cranberry Bulgur Wheat


For 2 people

  • 8 ounce(s) water
  • 1/2 cup(s) bulgur wheat
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon(s) chicken bouillon granules
  • 1 teaspoon(s) butter
  • 1/4 cup(s) dried cranberries


  1. Bring water to a boil in a pot, and mix in bulgur, bouillon granules and butter. Cover pot, reduce heat to low, and simmer 15 minutes.
  2. Fluff cooked bulgur with a fork, and gently mix in the dried cranberries.
