Eastern Europe Burgers


For 4 people

  • 8 ounce(s) ground beef
  • 8 ounce(s) ground pork
  • 8 ounce(s) veal, ground, raw
  • 1 cup(s) onions, raw
  • 3 tablespoon(s) dill
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) exotic indian spices, coriander powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt, table
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) spices, pepper, black
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) cumin, ground
  • 1 teaspoon(s) leavening agents, baking soda
  • 1/4 cup(s) soup, stock, beef, home
  • 1 cup(s) tomato
  • 1/4 cup(s) hot peppers, pickled
  • 4 rolls


  1. Combine the beef, pork, veal, onion, dill, coriander, salt, pepper, cumin, baking soda, and beef stock in a bowl and mix well with a wooden spoon. Wet your hands in cold water. Form 4 burgers as described above and refrigerate on a plate wrapped with plastic wrap until grilling. Place the chopped vegetables in bowls with spoons. Preheat the grill to high. Grill the burgers until cooked through and golden brown, 4-6 minutes per side, turning with a spatula. Serve the burgers on rolls topped with spoonfuls of onion, tomato, and pickled pepper.
