Fancy Caramel Apples
Caramel and chocolate lovers get the added benefit of fruit with this favorite Halloween treat. Get creative with toppings to really have fun!
Ingredients
For 15 people
- 25 apples, washed
- 50 caramels (14 oz. bag)
- 25 wooden sticks
- 1 floz water
- 1/2 cup(s) Chocolate chips topping, if desired
- 1/2 cup(s) coconut topping, if desired
- 1 teaspoon(s) sprinkles for topping, if desired
Directions
Melt caramels with water in double boiler over low heat. Stir occasionally until smooth. Insert sticks into apples. Dip apples into hot caramel sauce, turning to coat. Place on waxed paper, chill until firm. Decorate with toppings if desired.
