Gingery Asparagus
This Asian-inspired side blends the flavors of sesame oil and ginger with asparagus for a healthy side that is full of fiber, folate, and vitamins A, C, E and K.

- 30 to 35 spears of fresh asparagus, trimmed (1.5 pounds)
- 2 teaspoon(s) vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoon(s) minced fresh ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) ground pepper
- 1 teaspoon(s) sesame oil
Directions
Sauté asparagus in 2 tsp. hot oil over medium-high heat in a large nonstick skillet 7 minutes. Add ginger, and sauté 1 minute. Stir in sugar and remaining ingredients, and cook 1 minute.
