Halibut & Chips
Want to prepare a unique recipe... just for the halibut? These fillets are coated with mayo mix, dipped into chip mix, and finally patted in chip coating to stick and ready to be baked.
Ingredients
For 4 people
- 1/2 cup(s) mayonnaise
- 3 teaspoon(s) dijon mustard
- 1 clove fresh garlic, minced
- 1 1/4 teaspoon(s) lemon juice
- 3 ounce(s) bag of plain potato chips
- 1 cup(s) panko Japanese style breadcrumbs
- 4 halibut fillets
Directions
Mix ingredients together well in a bowl: Crush the Lay's plain potatoes chips in a bag but not too fine. 1 cup of panko Japanese style breadcrumbs; coat halibut chunks with mayo mix then dip into chip mix, pat gently to get chip coating to stick. Place in a single layer on baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-30 minutes depending on how thick the fillets are.
