Homestyle Chili
When you're in the mood for homestyle chili, this dish does the trick. It is especially great for a cold winter day and can be easily doubled. Take a chili pill.
Ingredients

- 16 ounce(s) ground beef
- 4 tablespoon(s) chili powder
- 2 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1 teaspoon(s) sugar
- 1 large chopped onion
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 4 cup(s) cans tomatoes
- 8 floz water
- 1 floz salad oil
- 1/8 cup(s) flour
- 3 cup(s) cans pinto beans or kidney beans
Directions
- Brown ground beef; add chili powder, salt, sugar, onion, green pepper, tomatoes, and water. Simmer until all is cooked. Add rest of ingredients, mixing flour with liquid from beans for thickening.
