  • 2 1/2 cup(s) canned garbanzo beans, rinsed
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon(s) cumin
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon(s) fresh parsley
  • 1 dash(es) salt
  • 1 dash(es) pepper


In a blender, mix all ingredients until desired consistency is obtained. For a softer texture, add 1/4 cup of water. Chill and serve cold with pita or tortilla chips.
