Italian Veal Chop
This Italian veal chop recipe is super easy to prepare and tastes great to top it off. Tender and seasoned to perfection, this is love!
Ingredients
For 1 people
- 12 ounce(s) veal chop
- 6 teaspoon(s) seasoned flour (or as much as desired)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 floz water (for egg wash)
- 2 ounce(s) breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoon(s) grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoon(s) olive oil, divided
- 1/4 cup(s) chopped tomato
- 2 teaspoon(s) fresh minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon(s) fresh basil, chopped
- 1 shallot, sliced
- 1 tablespoon(s) butter
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) salt, to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) pepper, to taste
Directions
Dredge chop in flour, then egg wash, then breadcrumb mixture. Brown chop on both sides in 1 Tbsp. olive oil. Place in 350-degree oven for approximately 15 minutes, until cooked medium-well. Sauté tomatoes, garlic, shallot and basil in equal parts of olive oil and butter; season. Place chop on plate and cover with tomato mixture. Serve with favorite starch, such as risotto.
