MBaked Bananas

Ingredients

For 4 people

  • 4 bananas
  • 1/3 cup(s) maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup(s) orange juice
  • 1/3 cup(s) almonds, chopped or slivered
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) ground cardamon
  • 1 Grated fresh, unsweetened dried, or unsweetened toasted coconut for topping
  • 4 tablespoon(s) butter or margarine, melted

Directions

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Peel bananas and halve them lengthwise. Lay them in a baking dish. In a medium bowl, combine maple syrup, orange juice, almonds, cardamom, and melted butter or margarine. Pour mixture over bananas and bake for 30 minutes. Serve at once, topped with coconut.
