Mock Pizza

Somewhere between a pizza and a quesadilla fits this yummy slice of heaven. Using a flour tortilla as the foundation, you can pretty much build whatever tickles your fancy. One thing is for sure... say cheese!


Mock Pizza

Ingredients

For 1 people

  • 1 Flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoon(s) salsa or spaghetti sauce
  • 1/5 cup(s) cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon(s) olive oil

Directions

Place a flour tortilla on an oiled cookie sheet. Add a couple of tbsp. of salsa for Mexican Pizza or spaghetti sauce for Italian pizza. Spread the sauce nearly to the edge of the tortilla. Sprinkle about 2 to 3 tbsp. of cheddar or mozzarella cheese on top and add the olive oil. Then bake in a preheated oven until the cheese begins to turn golden. Remove and place on a plate before cutting with a pizza wheel.
