Old Cornmeal Drink

  • 1 cup(s) cornmeal mush
  • 4 tablespoon(s) cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 16 ounce(s) water
  • 3 cup(s) milk
  • 1/2 cup(s) honey


Mix cornmeal, cocoa, cinnamon, salt and water in a saucepan. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low. Stir in milk and honey. Heat to simmering, stirring constantly but do not boil.
