Old Style Chili Beef Soup
Try something new with old-style flavor! The mushroom soup brings home the taste with this basic chili beef pottage that can be prepared by even the most novice chef.
Ingredients
For 4 people
- 24 ounce(s) ground beef
- 1 large clove garlic, minced
- 1 pouch onion mushroom soup dry mix
- 12 floz water
- 1 can (15 oz.) tomatoes, diced
- 2 tablespoon(s) chili powder
- 1 tablespoon(s) Cheddar cheese, shredded
Directions
- In 10-inch skillet over medium heat, cook beef with garlic until browned, stirring to break up meat. Pour off fat. Stir in soup mix, water, tomatoes and chili powder. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low and cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve with cheese.
