Ingredients

For 8 people

  • 4 tablespoon(s) finely chopped shallots
  • 1/10 cup(s) chopped fresh tarragon
  • 2 tablespoon(s) balsamic vinegar
  • 4 teaspoon(s) extra virgin olive oil
  • 907 1/8 grams 2 lb. (about 6 medium) heirloom tomatoes, cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) freshly ground black pepper

Directions

Combine first 4 ingredients in a bowl, stirring well. Arrange tomatoes on a platter. Sprinkle tomatoes evenly with salt and pepper and drizzle with shallot mixture.
