Onion Quiche
This simple quiche is a versatile dish that can be easily customized. It is very good, basic and quick. YOu can make it for breakfast or a dinner.
Ingredients
For 8 people
- 1 tablespoon(s) butter
- 1 large onions, diced
- 3 eggs
- 5 1/4 tablespoon(s) heavy cream
- 1/3 cup(s) shredded swiss cheese
- 1 (9 in.) unbaked piecrust
Directions
reheat oven to 375 degrees.
Over medium-low heat melt butter in a large saucepan. Add onions and cook slowly, stirring occasionally, until onions are soft.
In a small bowl, beat together eggs and cream. Stir in cheese. Spread onions in bottom of pastry shell. Pour egg mixture over onions and bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until eggs have set.
