Pecorino With Honey, Rosemary, and Walnuts
Good before or after a meal according to your taste and tradition. It could also be served as a salad course.
Ingredients
For 4 people
- 2 rosemary sprigs
- 8 tablespoon(s) extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoon(s) honey
- 16 ounce(s) pecorino cheese, cut into 8 thin slices
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) cracked black pepper
- 1/4 cup(s) walnut halves (16 walnut halves)
Directions
Steep the rosemary in the olive oil for 2 hours. Strain and discard the rosemary. Whisk the olive oil and honey in a mixing bowl until thoroughly combined.
Arrange the Pecorino on a serving platter and drizzle with the honey and olive oil mixture.
Top with the black pepper and walnuts and serve.
