Pomegranate Salad

- 2 tablespoon(s) extra virgin olive oil or walnut oil
- 1 garlic clove, finely minced
- 1/2 tablespoon(s) brown sugar, packed
- 8 ounce(s) fresh Parmesan cheese
- 1 dash(es) Fresh ground pepper
- 1/2 cup(s) pomegranate juice; for Dressing
- 1/2 cup(s) toasted walnuts, chopped
- 12 cup(s) spinach or other lettuce
- 2 persimmons, peeled and cut into wedges
- 2 tablespoon(s) extra virgin olive oil or walnut oil; for Dressing
- 1 pomegranate, seeded
- 1 garlic clove, finely minced; for Dressing
- 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) brown sugar, packed; for Dressing
- 1/2 cup(s) fresh parmesan cheese (2-4 oz.); for Salad
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) Fresh ground pepper, to taste; for Salad
- 1/2 cup(s) toasted walnuts, chopped; for Salad
- 12 cup(s) spinach or other lettuce; for Salad
- 2 persimmons, peeled and cut into wedges; for Salad
- 1 pomegranates, seeded; for Salad
- 1/4 cup(s) Basil (optional); for Salad
Directions
Mix the dressing ingredients.
Get the pomegranate seeds out. Mix the salad ingredients and toss with dressing.
