Pork & Beef Wontons
You don't need to hit your favorite Asian hot spot to enjoy the great taste of gourmet wontons. With this recipe, you can make your own batch in minutes.
Ingredients
For 12 people
- 35 won ton skins or 1 lb. egg roll sheets cut in quarters
- 8 ounce(s) ground beef
- 8 ounce(s) ground pork
- 8 ounce(s) water chestnut, chopped fine
- 3 stalks green onion, chopped fine
- 2 teaspoon(s) sesame seed oil
- 1 dash(es) salt to taste
- 1 dash(es) pepper to taste
Directions
Mix filling ingredients together. Place about one tsp. of filling in center of won ton skin and fold over making a triangle, sealing edges by wetting with water. Deep fry in hot oil until golden and meat is cooked (about 5 minutes). Serve with catsup mixed with Coleman dry mustard or with sweet and sour sauce.
