Quick Egg Drop Soup
Chinese food is satisfying, but expensive, and you never know what ingredients (like MSG) are hidden in your local takeout provider's recipes. This homemade egg drop soup is a takeout favorite, made at home in a matter of minutes.
Ingredients
For 4 people
- 3 cup(s) chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1 dash(es) white pepper
- 1 medium scallion, chopped
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
Directions
Heat chicken broth, salt and white pepper to boiling in 2-quart saucepan. Stir scallion into eggs. Pour egg mixture slowly into broth, stirring constantly with fork, to form shreds of egg.
