Sam's Savory Minestrone Soup


For 4 people

  • 3 1/2 cup(s) cans chicken broth
  • 1/3 cup(s) uncooked whole wheat small shell pasta
  • 2 cup(s) tomato sauce
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 cup(s) diced, cooked chicken
  • 1 carrot, sliced
  • 1 stalk celery, sliced
  • 1/8 tablespoon(s) basil


Bring broth to boil in large saucepan; stir in pasta and boil 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 10 minutes. Garnish with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
