Shells and Beans

This recipe is a hit whenever you make it. It is a very rich and when done looks like a deep-dish pizza.

Shells and Beans


For 6 people

  • 2 cup(s) (1 box) shell pasta, cooked
  • 32 tablespoon(s) hot chunky salsa (1-15-16 oz. jar)
  • 30 ounce(s) (2-15 oz. cans) kidney beans, undrained
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) salt, to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup(s) shredded cheese


Cook the pasta according to package directions but very “al dente”. Combine cooked pasta with remaining ingredients in large pan. Heat through for about 15-25 minutes. Add shredded cheese and serve in bowls.
Ready in 35 min.
