Slow-Cooked Pork & Sauerkraut

Ingredients

For 5 people

  • 20 ounce(s) can or bag sauerkraut
  • 1/4 cup(s) brown sugar
  • 24 ounce(s) ground pork sausage
  • 1 onion, sliced

Directions

In a medium bowl, combine the sauerkraut and brown sugar. Then place in the crock-pot. Arrange the sausage and onion over the sauerkraut. Cook on HIGH for 2 hours. If it appears dry, add some water if necessary. Reduce heat to LOW setting, and cook for two more hours.
