Sugar Free Christmas Cut-outs
Cut out the sugar and add in the goodness! This treat is the perfect holiday goody. It's more like a biscuit than a cookie. For an extra sugar kick, liven them up add sprinkles or icing.
Ingredients
For 1 people
- 1/2 cup(s) shortening
- 9 teaspoon(s) sugar substitute with aspartame
- 1 egg
- 2 1/2 cup(s) cake flour
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
- 2 teaspoon(s) baking powder
- 1/2 cup(s) skim milk
- 1 floz water
- 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
Directions
Cream shortening, add sugar substitute and egg; beat well. In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients; add the milk, vanilla, and water. Put in flour mixture and stir well. Chill dough 2 to 4 hours. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Roll out 1/8 inch thick and cut the cookies. Bake for 8 to 10 min. Cool. Keep in airtight container.
