Hankering for a healthy, but filling, lunch offering? Join the club - club sandwich, that is. Prepared with turkey bacon for a healthy twist, this lunch option will fit in perfectly with your low-fat, low-calorie eating plan.

Turkey Club Sandwiches


For 4 people

  • 1/4 cup(s) fat free Thousand Island dressing
  • 8 slices whole wheat bread
  • 4 green leaf lettuce leaves
  • 4 slices of tomato (about 2 medium tomatoes)
  • 4 1-ounce slices deli style fat-free turkey breast
  • 4 3/4-ounces slices fat-free Cheddar cheese
  • 4 turkey bacon slices, cooked and cut in half


Spread 1 tablespoon dressing over 1 side of 4 slices of bread. Arrange lettuce, tomato, turkey, fat-free cheese and turkey bacon evenly on slices. Top with remain bread slices. Cut each sandwich into halves and secure with wooden toothpicks. Arrange on plates with pickle spears and serve
