Turkey & Walnut Salad In Pita
Can't decide between a sandwich and a salad? You don't have to. This turkey and walnut pita offers the best of both worlds. It'll certainly satisfy your hunger.
Ingredients
For 4 people
- 1 floz to 2 oz. milk
- 8 ounce(s) cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup(s) green pepper, chopped
- 1/4 cup(s) walnuts, chopped
- 2 cup(s) turkey, cooked and chopped
- 1 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon(s) onion, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) thyme
- 1 Alfalfa sprouts
- 4 pita breads
Directions
- Add milk to cream cheese; mix until creamy. Add remaining ingredients except sprouts. Cut pita bread into halves or quarters and add filling. Top generously with the alfalfa sprouts.
