Veal Goulash
This is a "stick to your ribs" recipe and will be particularly satisfying on a cold winter's day.
Ingredients
For 6 people
- 1 tablespoon(s) olive oil
- 16 ounce(s) ground veal
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 green bell pepper, diced
- 2 red bell pepper, diced
- 3 teaspoon(s) garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon(s) dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon(s) dried basil
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) salt, to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) pepper, to taste
- 2 cans diced tomatoes
- 2 cans tomato sauce
- 2 cans beef broth
- 2 cup(s) macaroni or favorite pasta, cooked
- 1 Freshly grated Parmesan
Directions
Heat olive oil in a large stockpot over medium heat; add veal, onion, peppers, garlic and seasonings. Cook until veal is browned; drain off excess fat. Add all canned products and simmer. Season to taste and serve with pasta and Parmesan cheese.
