Veggie Pita Bread
Have you had your veggies today? If not, this palate-pleasing pita gives you the opportunity to load up. It's the stuff that pita dreams are made of.
Ingredients
For 4 people
- 1/4 cup(s) vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoon(s) cider vinegar
- 4 1/2 teaspoon(s) soy sauce
- 1/4 tablespoon(s) grated ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) sugar
- 6 ounce(s) frozen or fresh pea pods
- 1/4 ounce(s) chopped green onions
- 1 cup(s) bean sprout
- 1/4 cup(s) celery, chopped
- 1/4 cup(s) water chestnuts, sliced
Directions
- Make a dressing out of first 5 ingredients. Toss pea pods, onion, and bean sprouts with dressing. Chill overnight. Immediately before serving, add celery, water chestnuts and toss.
