Splurge on a pair of designer jeans or that purse you've been coveting. The trick is to remember not to use food as entertainment. When you're planning gatherings and celebrations, make the get-togethers outside of normal meal times so that food won't be an issue. If you're attending the festivities, enjoy a health meal before you arrive. That way you won't be tempted to overindulge in high-fat, high-calorie favorites.
