Physical Signs He's Not Right for You

It's sometimes easy to deny to yourself that your current relationship just isn't working out. The emotional strain of a failing relationship is fairly obvious, but did you know that you may suffer physically as well? Listen to your body as well as your inner voice when you get the feeling something is wrong. Here are a few signs. The most obvious is that when you should be aroused, you're not. Barring age and medical issues, if you're with a partner and things in the relationship are going south, then you'll be less lubricated...down south. It may be a signal that you trust your partner less and don't feel as bonded to him or her as you should be. Those feelings may spill over when it's time for bed – to sleep, that is. Sleep issues can signal anxiety, and if he or she is in the bed with you, then you may not feel secure enough to fall asleep and stay that way for a restful night of ZZZs.

Likewise, if you feel exhausted, despite getting a good night's sleep, then you may be expending way more energy analyzing what's going wrong, and it's making you fatigued. All that stress can make you feel anxious, and you may notice that you're eating more as a result of being stressed. Then again, that worry can cause a lack of appetite. Regardless of what you're eating, stress can cause gastric problems like nausea and constipation. A state of emotional unrest can affect your immune system, so watch out if you notice yourself getting sick a lot with colds or other infections. Similarly, if you find that an old injury isn't healing well, it could be a result of your flagging immunity. For your physical and emotional health, if you start to see several of these signs, then it's time to break it off.
